1 ⅔cups(7 ounces or 200 g) graham cracker or whole grain cookie crumbs
1 ½cups(165 g) powdered sugar
6 ½tablespoons(3 ounces or 90 g) melted butter
1cup(250 g) peanut buttercreamy or crunchy
Instructions
Line a small baking pan with parchment paper. You need one that’s about 8x8 inches or 9x9 inches or 7x10 inches (20x20 cm bis 23x23 cm, 18x26 cm).
Place the chocolate and salt into a medium bowl. Heat the cream in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbles start to form (remove from heat before cream comes to a boil). Immediately pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it stand for 1-2 minutes, then stir until completely smooth. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Press the peanut butter mixture into the pan. Stir the chocolate once more, pour it over the peanut butter mixture and spread evenly.
Chill the Peanut Butter Bars for at least 2 hours before cutting into small squares. Store in refrigerator – they taste best chilled!
